Barcelona eased to victory over Sporting Gijon, despite being without
the injured Lionel Messi, thanks to goals from Luis Suarez, Rafinha,
Neymar and Arda Turan.
The visitors took the lead just before the half hour mark, Arda Turan
picked out Suarez who beat Pichu Cuellar before slotting into an empty
net.
Barcelona then doubled their lead just two minutes later, Sergi Roberto’s cross converting by a flying header from Rafinha.
Neymar added a third with 10 minutes to go, slotting home the loose
ball after Paco Alcacer’s strike had been tipped onto the bar before
Arda grabbed a fourth and Neymar made it five late on.
